Senior Men

Hamilton Hornets have a long history in Ontario Rugby and have fielded a senior mens' rugby team for over half a century. We also have programs for junior men of all ages and an old boys rugby side.

In 2006 the mens' first team went undefeated to win the NRU B division to win promotion to the NRU A division.

In 2007 the Hornets added a third mens' team to the club for the first time in several years as the club continued to grow and attract new players at a rapid rate. It paid off and the Hornets won the Niagara A division that year and repeated as champions in 2008 with an undefeated season.

2009 saw the Hornets promoted to the ORU Provincial division and competed there for two seasons before returning to the Niagara A division in 2011.

In 2011 and 2012 the Hornets again won the NRU A division and in 2012 won the Ontario Intermediate Cup and with it promotion to the ORU Provincial division and competed there in 2013.   Hamilton Hornets Senior Men won the NRU-A division in 2014 and 2015.

Hamilton senior men train on Tuesday and Thursday nights from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. The regular season runs from May through September with preseason beginning in early April. Indoor training takes place once per week during the offseason.
