May 28, 2005 The Hamilton Hornets Senior Men defeated the Niagara Wasp's 20-0 in their first regular season game of 2005. Tries were scored by starting Hooker (John Sanderson), Full-Back (Steve Reise), and substitution Hooker (Tom Edwards). Chris Gilks scored the remaining 5 points with a conversion, and a penalty goal. The Hamilton Hornets dominated the game for the entire 80 minutes. The forwards controlled the ball in the rucks, and the Hornet backs broke through Niagara's back line repeatedly.
