How to use the Hamilton Hornets' Calendar...

It's fairly straightforward and this help file is probably not required but just in case...

The features of this database-driven calendar are as follows. If you are looking at the calendar you will notice that there are a series of links on it.

The Top Left Corner:

There are two links in this section. The one on the right simply takes you back to our home page.

Clicking the "Prev Month" link will change the display to that of the previous month (i.e. if it is currently December, this link will take you to November).

The Top Right Corner:

If you got this far you are already familiar with the "Need Help" link. The "Next Month" link is identical in every way to the "Prev Month" link apart from its effect on the time line.

The Top Middle:

The "Goto Today" link is handy if you have clicked several months into the past or future and wish to get to the current month in one click.

The Current Day:

I wrote this help file on boxing day 2005 and, as you can see, the 26th day of the month is highlighted in yellow. The current day is always highlighted in yellow but is only visible on the current month page for obvious reasons.

Seeing the details:

Days that have events will display a brief description of the event (max 3 events displayed/day in this view). You will notice that the day appears in bold blue letters if something is going on. If you click on that date you will see a detailed view for that day (below):

Detailed View:

The detail view displays as many events as there are on the given day - there is no limit. In this case there is only one event.

You will also notice that there are links at the bottom of this page to return to either the calendar or the home page.
