President's End of Season Message

August 30, 2005

Gentleman,

I just want you to know that I think all of you did a terrific job this season. Attendance and commitment to practice is the best I've seen since 1999. This is a true testament to your worth as Hamilton Hornet members. Whether it was an on the field display of Heart, Discipline or Devotion, to the off field socials, all were directly involved in the betterment of the club as a whole.

You have all had a profound effect during this " Rebuilding Year " and were all justly rewarded as can be seen by everyone's dedication to improving rugby in Hamilton. Knowing that you all could be counted on for practices and game days took a tremendous amount of pressure off Coach Lende and myself. There was never a need to scramble for players…this will bode well when it comes to the development of our 2nd's squad for the 2006 season.

Thanks be to all for setting such a great example for the upcoming juniors. You have all made immense contributions and I am confident that they will pay off with club growth and division advancement in the very near future.

Know that you have all succeeded this season.
