The information below is for new players to the Club and/or rugby in general.

Equipment:
Essential equipment includes a mouthguard, rugby boots, rugby shorts, rugby socks and a rugby jersey.
No player should ever step on to the field at training or for a game without a mouthguard. Accidents can
happen so always have your mouthguard, even for practice. If you are a forward you need rugby boots. Some backs
prefer to wear soccer boots but most players prefer the rugby boot for its added support. Rugby shorts are required
for games and forwards will find that they are also essential at training. T-shirts rip easily and you will find
that you will want to invest in a cheap training jersey or two. The club provides game jerseys.

is a sponsor of the Hornets and a great place to get all of your rugby gear. The clubhouse also stocks items
like mouthguards, shorts and socks so ask in the clubhouse.

Game Schedules:
Each team has a dedicated section of the website which can be found in the drop down menus just below the main banner above.
For the senior men and women the schedules are located at Men/Women > Fixtures / Results. The junior team schedules
are not yet available but will appear on the page corresponding to the age group under the Juniors drop down
menu.

Training Times / Practice Schedule:
In general most teams at Hamilton train on Tuesday and Thursday evenings and play games on Saturdays. Practices
usually start at 6:30 and end at 8:30 but check with your coach or team manager. Some junior teams train on other nights.
